Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a Structural Engineer for a 2-year assignment in the Outside Plant Engineering & Design group within Electric T&D. You will apply broad civil/structural knowledge to design and analyze transmission structures, produce drawings, and provide field support.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, a B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering, and a New Jersey P.E. license, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years civil/structural engineering experience with design and field work.
• Experience in complex structural calculations and drawings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/MicroStation and structural software.
• NJ P.E. license required and valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex civil/structural calculations and analysis.
• Prepare construction drawings for steel, concrete structures and foundations.
• Design and detail transmission structures incl. lattice towers and tubular poles.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings for existing structures.
• Oversee junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
