Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is seeking a Civil/Structural Senior Engineer for the Critical Infrastructure Solutions team.

The role can be based in San Diego or considered at Atlanta, Denver, Sacramento, or San Jose with remote options. You will lead medium-scale projects, perform advanced 3D modeling, steel and concrete design, and seismic analysis, collaborating with project managers and staff.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil or Structural engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 5–9 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in solid mechanics, steel, concrete, seismic design/analysis.
• Knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI, etc.
• Proficiency in finite element programs such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab or Mathcad.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures.
• Prepare technical reports and calculation documents.
• Execute complex structural engineering tasks.
• Plan and coordinate projects with limited oversight.
• Delegate tasks and review calculations for other engineers.
• Provide oversight and client relationship development.
