Job summary

Egis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead and oversee transportation infrastructure projects across New England. You will provide technical leadership, assist in planning and rehabilitation, and manage client engagement with public and private clients.

With 12+ years of experience, you will review designs, lead calculations, and coordinate with agencies while supporting growth opportunities and proposals in the region.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of transportation design structures experience.
• Professional Engineer license (PE) required.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI codes.
• Experience with CTDOT, MassDOT, and RIDOT policies.
• Experience serving as discipline lead / project manager.
• Rail experience preferred.
• NBIS inspection experience a plus.
• BS or MS in civil/structural engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for structural design.
• Lead planning, design, rehabilitation, and inspection of transportation structures.
• Develop and review design calculations and analysis models.
• Prepare project deliverables for all design phases.
• Manage construction phase services and RFI responses.
• Develop project scopes and fees.
• Maintain relationships with transportation agencies and stakeholders.
• Support proposals and project capture strategies.
