Job summary

Egis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects in the New England region. You will provide technical leadership, design oversight, and client engagement, delivering high-quality plans, specs, and estimates across all project phases.

The role requires a PE license, 12+ years in transportation design, and strong knowledge of AASHTO, AREMA, AISC and related codes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of transportation design experience.
• PE license is required.
• Knowledge of AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, and ACI standards.
• Experience with CTDOT, MassDOT, and RIDOT policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for structural design and analysis.
• Lead planning, design, rehab, and inspection of transportation structures.
• Develop and review design calculations and deliverables for all phases.
• Manage construction phase services, submittals, and RFIs.
• Support proposals, client engagement, and project capture strategies.
