Job summary

Jobot in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer and Project Manager for commercial projects. The role leads a structural engineering team to produce construction documents using Revit, while managing project schedules to meet deliverables across diverse facilities such as offices, entertainment venues, healthcare, and high-rise buildings.

Candidates should have 10+ years in structural design, a ABET-accredited degree, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

10+ years of structural engineering design experience.
Project management experience desired.
ABET-accredited degree in structural or civil engineering.
Experience with concrete, masonry, steel, wood design; gravity & lateral systems.
PE or PMP preferred.
Proficient in Revit, ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc.
Experience with BIM workflows and coordinating with clients.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and delegate development of system layouts, calculations, and reports.
Manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communications from proposal through close-out.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and participate in OAC meetings.
Develop structural solutions from concept through construction.
Produce construction documents using Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients in integrated design.
Adapt to varying codes and practices across the US.
Mentor entry-level staff.
