Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer for Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology in Houston. You will plan, coordinate, and perform structural engineering tasks for foundations, concrete, and steel superstructures under supervision, contributing to large-scale EPC projects in data centers, life sciences, and manufacturing.

The role requires strong knowledge of ASCE/SEI 7, AISC LRFD, ACI 318 and IBC, plus EPC industry experience and constructability focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; 8–10 years experience or 12–14 years experience are required.
• Experience with data centers is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASCE/SEI 7, AISC LRFD, ACI 318, IBC).
• EPC project design experience and constructability awareness required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and perform structural engineering tasks for foundations, concrete, and steel superstructure.
• Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and requisitions.
• Develop and check complex structural deliverables like calculations and material requisitions.
• Provide assistance to project and construction management on civil/structural requirements.
