Radiant is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to impact the first new commercial reactor design in over 50 years by 2026. This role requires expertise in designing and analyzing structures in extreme environments. Responsibilities include ownership of critical design elements, conduct trade studies, and perform detailed analysis using hand calculations and finite element tools. The position offers a competitive salary of $133.5K – $207.9K, along with substantial equity and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing structures.
• 4+ years of experience performing stress analysis.
• Experience designing multi-component assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Own design for mass-efficient transportable shielding systems.
• Conduct trade studies and develop designs to meet program requirements.
• Perform thermomechanical and dynamic analysis for structural integrity.
