A leading infrastructure development company is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to support power generation projects in Charlotte, NC. The role involves developing structural calculations, designs, and collaborating with multi-discipline teams. We're looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. The successful applicant will work on various power and nuclear-related projects with multi-discipline engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering and Design.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in any state within the US.
• Experience with seismic analysis and design of structures for nuclear power plants.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural calculations, foundation and steel designs for projects.
• Review codes, design documents, and specifications for project development.
• Prepare engineering designs and drawings based on the contracted scope.

Skills

Structural design experience with Power Plant Projects

Strong communication skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
