Job summary

Jacobs is looking for a qualified Structural Engineer based in the USA Southwest Region. The role involves performing all aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design, providing mentorship, and leading project initiatives. A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer License are required, along with 4+ years of experience and knowledge of US building codes. The position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $116,800 along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design.
• Plan and conduct work requiring judgement in the evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to designers and less experienced engineers.
