TPD is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to perform structural reviews for locally sponsored projects, including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls, and participate in design activities. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn in a creative, flexible environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing submissions, providing SME guidance, producing design computations, and supporting business development with field reconnaissance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PA PE license preferred.
• PA counties PennDOT design experience preferred.
• Prior oversight of design teams for County or State bridge projects.
• Experience using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Review structure submissions from concept through letting.
• Provide client support as a subject matter expert in structural engineering.
• Prepare design computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates.
• Design tasks may include superstructure, substructure, and foundation work.
• Assist in data analysis, reports, maps, drawings, and field data interpretation.
• Modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules and designs for projects.
• Use CAD/engineering software to prepare documents.
• Assist with business development through project research and field reconnaissance.
