Job summary

ASD in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Engineer Structural 3 to support the Stress Engineering department on the E-2D program. This on-site role requires extensive aerospace structural analysis experience and clearance eligibility.

The candidate will perform static and dynamic analyses of metallic and composite airframes, derive internal loads with industry tools, and collaborate within a team to solve complex structural problems while prioritizing multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with aerospace structural analysis experience (12+ years) or Master’s degree with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 7+ years in aerospace structural analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated government Secret clearance and program access as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures and components using approved methods.
• Derive non-flight loads and create/ distribute internal loads using tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other applications.
• Collaborate in a team environment, prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and develop solutions for complex problems.
