Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a self-motivated civil/structural engineer to manage projects from proposal through construction administration. The ideal candidate will coordinate with engineers, architects and designers, guiding deliverables from design through site observation.

With a minimum of four years of relevant experience and a Florida P.E. license, you will lead a team, ensure quality, and liaise with clients and contractors to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Active, clean P.E. licence in Florida (other state licences considered).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
• Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to RFIs, periodic site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
• Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects.
• Lead a team of engineers, QA/QC of projects and liaise with clients and contractors.
