Job summary

RJC is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer in the United States with a PE license or nearing completion. The role will focus on designing wood, steel, and concrete structures, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with architects and contractors to drive project success.

You will perform site visits, generate comprehensive inspection reports, and review drafter drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements. Strong communication and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE license or near completion.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit to maximize BIM use.
• Experience in design, evaluation, and inspection of wooden, steel, and concrete structures.
• Strong communication and teamwork with architects, contractors, and staff.
• Ability to perform thorough site visits and craft detailed inspection reports.

Job Details

• Design wood, steel, and concrete structures adhering to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review project submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with project architects and contractors to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Perform site visits to inspect buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with architects, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to perform thorough site visits and create detailed inspection reports.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on varied tasks to support the team and project needs.
