ARCXIS in Houston is seeking a full-time Structural Designer to join our growing team. You will produce structural designs and details for residential buildings, using AutoCAD, under tight time constraints, and ensure compliance with codes and envelope requirements.

The role values reliability, hard work, and the ability to communicate clearly with Architects, Builders, and Owners. This position offers an opportunity for development within a dynamic office environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years structural design experience in the building design industry.
• Experience in wood-framed construction.
• Familiarity with building codes is a plus.
• Understanding of building envelope requirements.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Clear, concise and professional communication with Architects, Builders and Owners.
• Willingness to work long days and weekends as required.
