Techno Consult Engineering, PC (Techno) is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our corporate team. You will manage and execute civil engineering projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license, 6–15 years of structural experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, and similar software. Strong leadership and client communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 6-15 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, etc).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, local regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on structural engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Perform design tasks, prepare bid documents including drawings and specifications, and organize all drawings, reports, calculations, and associated project deliverables, with supervision from project managers and senior staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate project success.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects align with design and safety guidelines.
• Oversee project documentation, including permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships by addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
