Job summary

Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Dam Engineer with >12 years of experience to lead the evaluation, design, rehabilitation, and construction of concrete dams and related hydraulic structures in Texas.

You will serve as a technical leader, grow client relationships, manage complex dam projects from planning through construction, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with Schnabel offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• P.E. license in Texas preferred or ability to reciprocity.
• SE designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural evaluations of dams and hydraulic structures.
• Oversee design, rehabilitation, and construction of concrete dams and spillways.
• Manage complex dam projects from planning through construction.
• Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Mentor engineers and support professional development.
