Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) seeks a motivated Civil/Structural Consultant to join the Critical Infrastructure Solutions team in Denver, CO.

Remote or other office locations (Atlanta, GA, Sacramento, CA, San Diego, CA, or San Jose, CA) may be considered. The candidate will manage medium-to-high complexity projects, perform advanced structural analysis, and lead discussions with stakeholders to define scopes and proposals.

Qualifications

• MS in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience with solid mechanics, steel, concrete, seismic design/analysis, and advanced structural analysis.
• Proficient in finite element analysis software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, SAP2000, LS-DYNA, Matlab, or Mathcad.
• Knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC codes.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet budgets and schedules.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to review and improve other engineers’ outputs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate projects of medium to high complexity with minimal oversight.
• Execute complex structural engineering tasks.
• Control and report progress of scope and budget.
• Provide clear instructions to team members on tasks.
• Prepare technical reports and calculation documents.
• Review calculations from other engineers.
• Represent the company at project meetings.
• Assist senior management in winning repeat work from clients.
• Coordinate with technical leaders to solve complex problems.
• Implement SIA safety and quality control policies.
