Senior Structural / Building Engineer (PE) - Senior Project Manager - Vertical Construction


Location: Fort Worth, TX


Job Id: 4834


Halff has an open position for a Senior Structural / Building Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to be a Senior Project Manager on our growing Structural team based out of our Fort Worth, TX location. This position is for an individual with at least 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering interested in working on vertical construction building design projects. What you will do


  • Will design complete projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, Civil Structures, and vehicular bridges

  • Will manage production of construction drawings for own work

  • Will review contractor submittals during construction

  • Will manage project budgets

  • Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects

  • Will assist in training less experienced staff

  • Will provide CAD assistance when necessary


What you will need


  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree

  • Master's Degree in Civil / Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Structural / Building Engineering with Vertical Construction, Bridge and Building Design

  • PE License in Texas, or able and willing to obtain within 6 months of starting date

  • Experience managing structural design and plan production

  • MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus
