Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer with a civil engineering degree and a PE to expand our Transportation footprint in the Midwest and southern regions. Seven years of transportation structural/bridge design experience and familiarity with MDOT, ODOT, or other DOTs are required, along with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation experience.

The role focuses on leading design and analysis, preparing PS&E packages, and coordinating with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis on structural engineering is required.
• 7 years of transportation structural design experience required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required.
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design of bridges and experience with MDOT/ODOT/other DOT packages.
• Current NHI Bridge Inspection certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead roles in design and management of bridges and related structures.
• Lead analysis, design, and construction support for various bridge types.
• Prepare PS&E packages per federal, state, and local standards.
• Design and manage civil projects including bridges, culverts and earth retaining structures.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and project delivery.
