Job summary

• Experience with composite and metallic aircraft structures.

• Experience performing stress, fatigue, buckling, damage tolerance, and load path analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Evaluate stress, fatigue, buckling, damage tolerance, and load paths.
• Leverage FEA tools (NASTRAN/ANSYS/FEMAP) to validate designs.

Job description

Rate Range: $120/hour to $130/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of Aerospace Structures, Stress Analysis, or Structural Analysis experience
• Aircraft structural analysis experience involving composite and metallic structures
• Strong Finite Element Analysis (FEA) background using NASTRAN, ANSYS, FEMAP, or similar tools
• Experience performing stress, fatigue, buckling, damage tolerance, and load path analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
