Job summary

The City of Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Streets Liquid Road Operator to join its Liquid Road Pavement Preservation Program. This senior field operator will support pavement preservation treatments citywide and guide crew members to safe, efficient work.

The role highlights independent judgment in maintenance decisions and operation of specialized equipment. Starting salaries are at or near the mid-point, with a full range described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience in asphalt pavement maintenance or related street operations.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with tank endorsement and maintain through tenure.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized pavement preservation equipment and street maintenance vehicles.
• Assist with field coordination and provide technical guidance to crew members.
• Ensure quality, safety, and production standards are met.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
