Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Strategic Analytics Associate within Risk Management and Compliance in the United States. You will generate analytics and recommendations to guide strategy development, implementation, controls, and performance monitoring across the organization.

You will work with risk teams to analyze trends, metrics, and profitability drivers, delivering insights to senior leadership and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of risk management or quantitative experience.
• Educational or professional background in statistics, econometrics, finance, or other quantitative field.
• Strong SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau skills.
• Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytics to provide management with insight into emerging trends and the quality of originated accounts.
• Attain an understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers to deliver insights across the full account lifecycle.
• Analyze operational processes (e.g., underwriting, portfolio management, collections) to understand acquisition performance drivers.
• Conduct complex analysis including data collection, analysis, visualization and presenting results to partners and management.
• Support formulation of risk strategy and product roadmap, partnering with cross-functional teams.
• Manage risk strategies to drive financial performance and risk mitigation while innovating for growth.
• Collaborate with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure policies comply with laws and regulations.
• Conduct ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects representing Risk Management.
