Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Store Design Senior Manager to lead brand-aligned store environments across the Americas. You will drive design packages, stay hands-on in development, and guide a team to deliver projects on time and on brand.

This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of North American building requirements to ensure constructability and operational excellence across new stores, remodels, and refreshes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in retail store design, architecture, or related environments.
• Strong proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Proven experience managing projects and leading designers through execution.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of store design packages, including schematics and construction docs.
• Remain hands-on in design development, providing direction and review.
• Translate brand concepts to site conditions, leading with brand and optimizing spaces.
• Uphold high standards of design quality, innovation, and brand expression.
• Partner with Real Estate, Construction, Global Procurement, Field, Store Ops, VM, and Marketing.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, timelines and budgets, and drive capital plan execution.
• Oversee consultant partnerships and lead RFPs for external architects/engineers.
• Lead and mentor a team of designers to ensure quality and efficiency.
