Job summary

Mirantis, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement high-performance storage provisioning for GPU/AI workloads.

You will build control-plane services, CSI drivers, and tooling to connect storage systems to Kubernetes workloads across hybrid, edge, and air-gapped environments. You will work with Dell PowerScale, VAST, and similar storage platforms, and contribute to declarative provisioning workflows, data-path instrumentation, and secure, scalable pipelines using

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development, including production systems, with Go as a primary language.
• Experience building or integrating storage systems (distributed, scale-out, NAS or object) at scale.
• Proven experience designing storage for GPU/AI workloads and high-security air-gapped environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the software that provisions, integrates, and operates high-performance storage for GPU-accelerated compute and AI platforms.
• Develop control-plane services, drivers (CSI), and tooling that connect storage to Kubernetes workloads across hybrid, edge, and air-gapped deployments.
• Integrate storage platforms into automated, declarative provisioning workflows and build observability tooling.
• Deliver IaC and GitOps pipelines for storage configuration and lifecycle, and support bare-metal and hybrid provisioning.
