Job summary

PODS is seeking a forklift operator for our Daytona Beach storage center to load and unload containers and keep a safe, clean work area for daily operations.

Responsibilities include operating the forklift, following SOPs, coordinating with drivers, returning containers to the warehouse, and performing required inspections and paperwork.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, ability to obtain certification, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office are needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from local delivery and inter-franchise drivers, new container inventory, repositioning and customer access.
• Follow AM SOP by printing routes and pulling ancillary when assigned.
• Assist Market Manager with routing.
• Insure that all full containers staged outside during the day are returned to the warehouse each night.
• Maintain PODHUNTER and complete daily forklift inspection reports.
