Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Stock Worker and Receiver in Nashville to manage inventory, receive merchandise, and support store and warehouse operations. The role involves stocking, labeling, and ensuring accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in lead or supervisory roles, forklift certification if required, and a proven ability to maintain safety and order across storage areas and teams during regular weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lead or supervisor experience or equivalent business experience.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to promote a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Receive, organize and monitor all inventory
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas
• Utilize computerized account payable/purchasing system
• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: WEEKDAYS ONLY - Specific Shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Pay Range: $18 - $20

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Stock Worker and Receiver at Sodexo, you are an inventory expert and safety promoter. You will be responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading, or unpacking it, marking it with codes to be identified, stocking shelves, and helping customers place orders. You may work in a variety of locations including in stores, warehouses, stockrooms, and other storage facilities.
