Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Stock Worker and Receiver at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The role involves receiving merchandise, unloading and stocking, and ensuring accurate inventory records across storage facilities.

You’ll work in stores, warehouses, or stockrooms and support daily operations with a focus on safety and organization. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in lead or supervisor roles, is reliable and adaptable, and may hold forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of lead or supervisor experience or equivalent business experience.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturing a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Receive, organize and monitor all inventory
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas
• Utilize computerized accounts payable/purchasing system
• Provide support to management in daily oversight of key functions and employees
• Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
