Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Senior Sterile Processing Technician for night shift to ensure safe and efficient cleaning, sterilization and distribution of instrumentation for surgical cases.

The role requires nationally certified sterile processing credentials and at least 3 years of recent experience in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with OR teams and other departments to maintain sterile supplies.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of recent sterile processing experience.
  • Experience using personal computer and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

  • The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment.
  • Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases and other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.

Senior Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St Vincent Medical Center - Full-Time, Night Schedule

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
