Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure sterile instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, assembled, and distributed in accordance with safety standards. The role involves operating sterilizers, maintaining documentation, and assisting Endoscopy as needed.

The successful candidate has a high school diploma (GED) with CRCST/CSPDT certification; knowledge of Epic OpTime is a plus; a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST, CSPDT certification; CBSPD CER acceptable for Endoscopy roles.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and prep instruments and trays for procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot sterilizers (steam, EO) and monitor quality indicators.
• Maintain documentation of sterilization processes per regulatory requirements.
• Use Epic OpTime to access procedure lists and track supplies.
• Assist Endoscopy as needed with instrument turnover and handling.
