Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Steel Superintendent to oversee steel erection and fabrication activities, ensuring safe, efficient execution. You will read blueprints, coordinate crews, manage schedules, and maintain quality on multiple projects.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in steel construction with 3+ years in supervision, strong leadership, and knowledge of OSHA and industry standards. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of structural steel erection and fabrication experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role overseeing crews.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise steel erection and structural installation on projects.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Coordinate labor, schedule, and material requirements with team and managers.
• Oversee quality control of welding, bolting, and alignment to specs.
• Track daily progress, resource use, and labor hours.
