Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Research Statistician in Statistical Innovation to provide scientific and statistical leadership for innovative clinical trial design and advanced modeling across development programs. The role emphasizes evaluating new approaches and deploying simulations to drive methodological advances.

Qualifications

PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field.
Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling & drug development understanding.
Experience in statistical computing & simulations.
Proven expertise in SAS and R.

Responsibilities

Lead evaluation and education of novel statistical or ML/DL approaches.
Investigate complex innovative designs using modeling and simulations.
Apply emerging statistical methods (e.g., Bayesian methods, adaptive designs).
Develop and rollout statistical tools to operationalize methodologies.
Present and publish to influence the field.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
