Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a Senior Statistician/Mathematician to support a Federal Government client in the NCR region. The role emphasizes advanced statistics, mathematical modelling, and data-driven analysis for intelligence contexts.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in a related field and substantial senior experience; TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance or ability to obtain is required. The position is full-time and contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience related to the labor category, with recent work in the last 2 years.
• Master’s Degree required or 17 years total experience as substitute option for a Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies mathematics and statistics to interpret and summarize numerical data for intelligence problems.
• Designs complex metrics projects using baselines or historical data for analyses.
• Plans data collection, determines sample sizes, and prepares data for processing.
• Develops and documents statistical models and methods to evaluate AI system performance and fairness.
• Produces results in graphs, charts, tables, and metrics for reporting.
