• Strong communication skills to build partnerships with school divisions and policymakers.
• Experience in budget allocation and staff evaluation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Virginia's educator preparation, licensure, and workforce systems.
• Serve as a senior advisor on policy; translate research into statewide strategy.
• Lead and manage large, multifaceted teams and budgets across a statewide scope.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and revise policies and regulations.
• Represent the Department professionally and foster external partnerships.
