Google is seeking software engineers in Sunnyvale to own and advance large-scale networking projects. You will design, develop, test, and deploy robust software across the Google infrastructure, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and scalability in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
You will influence distributed teams, shape architecture, and drive performance improvements for real-time systems, AI-enabled workflows, and high-availability networks across Google Cloud platforms.

Unified Traffic Engineering (UTE) is in charge of optimized routing and traffic load balancing for Google's global networks including B4. Network traffic engineering is a critical infrastructure service for Google.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering every network flow for Google and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services end-to-end, in accordance with network product definitions, in compliance with Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and business policies, and optimized for efficiency. You will ensure designs are efficient and reliable to maintain network availability and user satisfaction for Google services and Google Cloud customers.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $262000 - $365000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
