• 8-10+ years of experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications and backend services in Java.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with deployment and scalable backend software in a distributed environment.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with search frameworks like Elasticsearch or SOLR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain critical software in a fast-paced Java environment.
• Author software specifications and design documents for features developed.
• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers/DevOps and cross-functional teams to deploy software and diagnose production issues.
• Conduct peer reviews of specifications, design, and code and iterate based on feedback.
• Work in an agile environment with short customer feedback loops and iterative development.
