About the Role

We’re on the lookout for talented Mobile iOS Engineers with 12+ years of experience who have the expertise to help guide our mobile efforts. Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

• Architect, build, test, and refine the company’s iOS app, along with supporting embedded mobile web views that enhance user experience.

• Utilize AI agents as a multiplier to deliver high-quality output quickly.

• Enhance and maintain our iOS mobile infrastructure, includingbuild pipelines, testing automation, and the release process, to ensure smooth operations.

• Build and scale essential, foundational services, such as push notification systems, accessibility and localization features, to enhance app functionality.

• Develop, iterate, and improve product features that integrate core business functions, work tools, value-added services, and financial products.

• Collaborate closely with our product management, design, and partner teams in product apps, identity, security, design systems, and infrastructure to identify technical and customer pain points, brainstorm solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch those solutions.Create a product that our customers truly love — don’t just take our word for it; see what our customers have to say.

Here’s what we're looking for:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Swift and iOS software engineering, with at least 12 years in mobile software engineering overall.

• Excellent communication skills and a knack for building strong cross-functional partnerships.

• A self-driven mindset with the ability to tackle greenfield projects and bring innovative ideas to life.

• Proficiency in iOS testing frameworks and a solid understanding of best practices.

• Experience in developing platform components and common features that enhance scalability, consistency, performance, and maintainability throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Strong critical thinking abilities and a keen attention to detail.

• A willingness to learn continuously and a passion for mentoring others in the organization.

Bonus points:

• Experience delivering high-quality code across a diverse tech stack.

• Experience with analytics and monitoring tools to track app performance / health and user engagement.

• Experience with mobile infrastructure, for example: CI/CD, automated testing environments, and release orchestration.

• Building a strong mobile foundation that feature teams can build on top of.

• Mobile Testing-at-scale.

• Strong knowledge of GraphQL.

the company has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, the company's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

When approved to work from a location other than a the company office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required. This includes non-office days for hybrid employees.
