You will mentor engineers, set technical standards for financial correctness, and partner with risk, regulatory, and product teams to balance customer experience with controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Backend languages include Go, Java or Python.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Strong ability to communicate complex tradeoffs to executives.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-quarter technical strategy for Payments spanning rails and transfers to support growth.
• Architect core Payments platform for high availability, low latency, and cost efficiency at global scale.
• Lead end-to-end design and rollout of cross-team initiatives with clear milestones.
• Set and enforce technical standards for financial correctness across Payments.
• Collaborate with FinHub, Payments Risk, and Regulatory to balance UX, risk, and economics.
• Provide deep technical mentorship to engineers across Payments pods.
