Responsibilities

• Architect the long-term engineering direction for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, resolving platform fragmentation and centralizing the authorization evaluation model for core platforms.
• Serve as the deep-domain technical authority on hyper-reliable infrastructure, leading complex, multi-year engineering programs to ensure fast, scalable, and always-correct IAM enforcement.
• Advise the next-generation evolution of IAM capabilities by identifying, prototyping, and integrating novel AI approaches into reliable production systems.
• Build and influence strategic collaborations with executive Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leadership to define and drive the overarching technical goal for the IAM space.
• Provide technical oversight and thought leadership while proactively fostering a collaborative culture focused on mentoring and developing engineering talent.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in software development

7 years of experience building software for data privacy or security

You will demonstrate deep technical expertise to build a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for Google Cloud, collaborating with IAM leaders to help GCP services integrate access control simply and enforce access control consistently.
