Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead complex application segments end-to-end, designing durable software and influencing technology direction across teams and domains.

You will build AI-native applications, solve cross-cutting problems, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Architecture, Product, and Operations to deliver impactful solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years developing systems and software for large business environments.
• 5+ years designing complex distributed systems, platforms, or business applications.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into production software, ideally driving AI projects standalone with commoditized AI tools and agentic workflows.
• Experience using AI evaluation tools and shipping AI features to production.
• Front-end: React/Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android) or Back-end: Java, TypeScript, Spring, Node.js.
• Production experience in AWS or GCP.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

• Full-stack experience with modern AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI, SageMaker, Bedrock), LLM APIs, agent orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and Python; plus depth in at least one of:
• Front-end: React, Angular, SwiftUI (iOS), Kotlin (Android)
• Back-end: Java, TypeScript, Spring, Node.js
• Production experience in AWS or GCP
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• Drives velocity in a matrixed environment with numerous stakeholders
• Strong mentor; communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communicator; self-starter who makes decisions independently
• Drives results across cross-functional, globally distributed teams

The Expected Base Pay Range For This Position Is
