Job summary

Vectara, a leader in AI agent platforms, seeks a Senior/Staff Platform Software Engineer to build scalable core infrastructure for AI-powered search and assistants. You will own backend systems, design secure services, and drive reliability and performance at scale.

You will mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, and advance CI/CD, observability, and DevOps practices across distributed ML/NLP workloads in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend systems experience with Java and Python.
• Deep experience with cloud environments, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability tools.
• Experience with distributed systems and ML platforms in production.
