Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join a vibrant data science team. You will conceive, code, and deploy ML models at scale using Python-based tools and cloud platforms, collaborating across data scientists, product managers, and engineers.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in ML or data science.
• Proficient with Python, Scikit, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow/Keras.
• SQL and data querying/processing fundamentals.
• GPU acceleration experience with CUDA/cuDNN.
• Experience deploying scalable software for millions of users.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiar with Git/Github workflows.

Responsibilities

• Discover data sources, get access to them, import them, clean them up, and make them “machine learning ready”.
• Collaborate with data scientists to create and refine features from the data and build pipelines to train and deploy models.
• Partner with data scientists to understand, implement, refine and design ML algorithms.
• Run regular A/B tests, gather data, perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions on model impact.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists and product engineers, and communicate results.
• Explore new technology shifts to connect with customer benefits.
