Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, with CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and development.
• 6+ years CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• 8+ years in capital equipment design for manufacturing sectors (semiconductor, automation, etc.).
• Experience in GD&T and detailed drawing documentation.
• Thermal analysis, FEA, CFD, and simulation software.
• Strong system-level thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on experience building and testing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with risk analysis methods such as FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and design prototypes and subsystems for capital equipment.
• Perform GD&T analysis at system and subsystem levels.
• Coordinate integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Plan tests to assess feasibility, performance and reliability.
• Drive documentation including BOM, drawings and procedures.
• Manage projects from concept to production.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software and Process teams.
• Participate in team meetings and reviews.
