Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Staff Full-stack Engineer (Remote-Eligible) to join the Global Payment Network. You will define scalable architectures, lead cross-divisional efforts, and mentor engineers, accelerating payment processing and fraud-mitigation capabilities in cloud environments.

You will partner with product, ML, and engineering leaders to push technical boundaries, modernize monoliths, and deliver secure, resilient fintech platforms at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong data architecture and distributed systems knowledge.
