## Senior Staff for Special Programs Budget SupportApply: US - DC, Washington: Full time: Posted Today: 45008**Job Family:**Financial Management (FIN)**Travel Required:**Up to 10%**Clearance Required:**Active Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI)**What You Will Do:**As the Senior Staff for Special Programs Budget Support, you will:* Provide special program budget support, including support for CFO Compliance and AFO.* Actively monitor portfolio execution and provide recommendations to resolve funding issues and protect DAF TOA in accordance with public laws, the DoD FMR, and Department Guidelines.* Maintain high-level knowledge of programs and provide a portfolio-wide perspective in support of routine execution analysis and support events such as Monthly Execution Reviews, Spring Program Reviews, and Summer Execution Reviews.* Provide decision support to FMZ leadership on a variety of budget issues.* Coordinate with OSW and FMB to ensure accuracy of FMZ data in budget systems.* Manage differing security levels and requirements of supported programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant security classification guides.* Manipulate data to develop actionable information products for FMZ leadership.* Consolidate and review information and documents provided by programs to ensure compliance with financial management laws, regulations, and best practices.* Provide customers and partners with timely fiscal analysis consistent with statutes and regulations; coordinate with fiscal lawyers as necessary.* Prepare and deliver verbal and written communications to keep FMZ chain-of-command, coworkers, and customers informed of issues and status of decision support analysis.* Process funds distribution documents in support of approved DoW, DAF, and mission partner budgets.* Review and process reprogramming and realignment requests.* Maintain FMZ budget data elements.* Track POM/PBR impacts, congressional marks, CR requests, UFRs, etc. for the FMZ portfolio; maintain trackers at the correct security level on all required networks; consolidate and present data to FM leadership.* Review, distribute, and compile responses to all taskers assigned to FMZ.* Collaborate with internal staff and external stakeholders to collect and consolidate data for budget integration products and data calls.* Provide guidance on legal and regulatory aspects of acquisition or use of funds; track and assess the long-term effects of new/revised legislation or policy.* Extract budget and program data from accounting records, forms, and reports; compile and summarize information for use by others. **What You Will Need:*** An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED \"TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)\" Federal or DoD security clearance with SAP eligibility.* Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related field; FOUR (4) additional years of financial management, accounting, budget and/or audit experience can be used in lieu of degree.* FIVE (5) or more years' experience with Department of War Budgets. Experience should include but not limited to: + FOUR (4) or more years' acquisition experience. + FOUR (4) or more years' project management experience of similar size and complexity contract. **What Would Be Nice To Have:*** Ability to interpret executive orders, OMB guidelines and directives, policies, and precedents.* Required knowledge and skill in budget-related laws, regulations, methods, etc.* Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DoD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.* Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.* Willingness to travel within the organizational geographical area of responsibility.* Strong Microsoft Office skills, including experience using advanced features of MS Word and MS Excel.The annual salary range for this position is $132,600.00-$198,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
