Job summary

Shield AI in Seattle is seeking a Senior Staff Mechanical & Actuated Systems Engineer to drive the mechanical design and development of autonomous UAV products.

You will architect mechanical and actuated systems on the X-BAT platform, design uplocks, doors, flight controls, landing gear, and wing fold, and collaborate with internal and external partners to prototype, test, and release production-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in mechanical design for aerospace or UAVs.
• Experience with uplocks, doors, landing gear, and wing-fold mechanisms.
• Ability to prototype, test, and release to production.
