A leading semiconductor company in California is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Mixed Signal Design to drive innovative projects in analog and mixed signal ICs for Automotive Ethernet products. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in high-speed and analog circuit design. This role offers a competitive salary range of $146,300 to $201,200 per year and eligibility for an incentive plan.

Qualifications

  • PhD with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or MS EE 5 to 7 years of experience.
  • Solid fundamentals in analog, linear circuit design, high speed design.
  • Experience in design of ADC/DAC, amplifiers, filters, PLLs and related high linearity transmit drivers.

Your Role
  • Design and verify high performance analog, mixed signal ICs for Automotive Ethernet products.
  • Research and develop circuit solutions including architecture, design, simulation, modeling, layout planning and supervision
  • Perform lab characterization and silicon debug.
  • Conduct design reviews and document work products
  • Communicate with cross functional teams to support all aspects of product development, including verification, production testing, reliability and quality assessment
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
  • PhD with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or MS EE 5 to 7 years of experience
  • Solid fundamentals in analog, linear circuit design, high speed design
  • Experience in multiple areas of design of data converters (ADC/DAC), amplifiers, filters, references, regulators, PLLs and clocking circuits and high linearity transmit drivers, with demonstrated working silicon
  • Experience with bidirectional analog front ends and signal processing concepts are highly desirable
  • Design experience in Fin-Fet technology nodes is preferred
  • Clarity in communication and presentation.
