Job summary

Lovable is seeking an exceptional Design Engineer who combines strong frontend fundamentals with a sharp eye for craft to execute on our website. You'll work closely with design and marketing to build world-class web content helping empower the next generation of creators and builders.

In New York-based role, you will own landing pages, implement interactions in React/TypeScript with performance and accessibility in mind, collaborate with designers, and build reusable components across product

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience shipping websites and landing pages users genuinely love.
• Portfolio demonstrating landing pages and advanced web interactions.
• Ability to balance speed and polish, knowing when to ship and when to refine.
• Strong frontend fundamentals: React architecture, state management, performance, accessibility.
• Experience translating explorations into production-ready experiences.
• Strong design sense with attention to accessibility and usability.
• Ideally - you push the boundaries of the web with technologies like WebGL.

What we\u2019re looking for

• 10+ years of years experience, shipping websites and landing pages users genuinely love

• Portfolio demonstrating landing pages and advanced web interactions (if you don\u2019t have a portfolio of landing pages - check out our other roles)

• Ability to make smart trade-offs between speed and polish, knowing when to ship and when to refine

• Strong fundamental understanding of modern frontend systems - React architecture, state management, performance, accessibility, and scalable UI patterns

• Experience translating scrappy explorations into production-ready experiences

• Strong design sense with an eye for detail, accessibility, and usability

• Ideally - you push the boundaries of the web with technologies like WebGL
