The Senior Staff Attorney (Attorney IV) at the State of Arizona focuses on collections and enforcement, handling demand letters, garnishments, judgment enforcement, asset investigations, and other collection efforts, while also representing the Industrial Commission of Arizona in various matters. The role also supports the Labor Division and OSHA matters, and provides legal advice and rulemaking assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in law related to the described duties.
• Ability to manage high-volume complex cases and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead enforcement and collections actions including demand letters, garnishments, and subrogation.
• Represent ICA and other divisions in workers’ compensation and OSHA matters.
• Provide legal advice, assist with legislative and rulemaking, and manage assigned cases in the ICA system.
