Job summary

ESHYFT, a health care technology company connecting nurses to facilities, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to build out the accounting function in a fast-growing, founder-led environment.

You will own month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and data integrity across multiple entities, collaborating with Billing, Payroll, AR, AP and Operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, urgency, and a hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or CPA-track is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience in SaaS, healthcare staffing, marketplace, or multi-entity environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and core accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, and large data analysis.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar mid-market ERP.
• Familiarity with subscription billing platforms such as Zuora or Chargebee.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities.
• Support audit, tax, lender reporting, and documentation.
• Provide financial reporting analysis and ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with Billing, Payroll, AR, AP, and Operations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Support SaaS and subscription revenue accounting workflows.
