Job summary

Munich Airport US Holding LLC in Newark, NJ is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage month-end close, financial statements, and balance sheet reconciliations while supporting the transition to NetSuite.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and requires 4–8 years of private company experience with strong GAAP knowledge. This is a hybrid role onsite three days per week with up to two remote days, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in private companies; CPA firm experience is a bonus
• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement prep

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee month-end close process and adjusting entries
• Prepare and review draft financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support schedules
• Coordinate with operational teams to resolve timing differences
• Monitor and forecast cash position; track payables/receivables aging
• Support budgeting, forecasting and the NetSuite migration testing and cutover
